The grapes used to create this White Crane Cabernet were grown on the West Ridge of this winery's estate vineyard in California's Livermore Valley. Aging for 17 months in oak barrels from Hungry, France and America, the winery took their time to make this wine perfect before releasing it for us to enjoy.
This Livermore Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is rich with flavors of chocolate and ripe strawberries. A wine that exhibits an excellent balance of flavors, White Crane's 2002 Cab has nice chewy tannins with a long and rich finish. From start to finish this is an extraordinary wine.
And as with the White Crane Winery's East Ridge vintage, this West Ridge wine is drinkable now while becoming even more smooth and enjoyable to drink in the next 10-15 years.
