The East Ridge of their estate vineyard in Livermore Valley is the fruit source for this White Crane 2002 East Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine was aged in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels for 17 months. Intense, ripe fruit, with a hint of oak. Chocolate and ripe strawberry flavors. Excellent balance and finesse. Nice chewy tannins with rich, long finish Only 275 cases of this exquisite wine were produced. Drinkable now, but will age well over the next 10-15 years.
