The winery is dedicated to the production of exceptional wines from the wonderful vineyards of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This trim little wooden winery is tucked in a beautiful and sunny setting within the redwood trees. The double-joined name originates from Bob Roudon and Jim Smith, 2 Engineers who made an exciting career change back in 1972. With recent retirement in 2003, the 3rd generation Santa Cruz Hunt family took over with an obligation to continue to produce fine wines that reflect the high standards and styles that were achieved over the years.

They also purchase grapes from selected vineyards in other regions of the state. Traditional wine-making methods result in elegant, long-lived wines, the perfect complement to a meal.
