The beautiful Fernwood Cellars winery is situated on 98 acres in California's lovely Santa Cruz mountains. This property has been in the winemakers family since the 1860s, originally a homestead, the property underwent its glorious transformation into a vineyard in 1999 and the actual winery was born in 2001. The sprawling is unique in that it has multiple microclimates within the property boundaries.

During the summer, the fog from the ocean creeps up to the mountains each night, skipping over the canyon where the winery is located.
